deployshed

Share a data app with the people who need it, and nobody else.

Push a Streamlit or Gradio app and get an address only your team can open. Give a client their own link until a date you choose. No Dockerfile, no start command, no shared password.

In invite-only beta. Beta teams start with credit.

$ git push origin main
→ installing with pip
→ streamlit run app.py --server.port 8080 --server.address 0.0.0.0 --server.headless true
✓ Live for everyone at Acme, and for Contoso until 30 November

The problem

Sharing a dashboard privately should not mean running a server

The free hosts are made for public apps. A password in the code is shared by everyone and cannot be taken back from one person. A server of your own means certificates, restarts and patches for something that was meant to take an afternoon.

What deployshed does

Your repository, running, behind a real sign-in

Started as it is

An app.py or streamlit_app.py that imports Streamlit is served with streamlit run, and Gradio listens on the right port, with no start command to write.

The data stack installs

requirements.txt, Poetry, Pipenv and uv are installed as written. pandas, NumPy, pyarrow and scikit-learn come as ready-built packages, not hour-long compiles.

Your team, or named people

Only people signed in to your organization can open the app, or only the people you name. Each person signs in as themselves, so nobody shares a password.

Links for clients that expire

Give someone outside the company a guest link with their name on it, valid for up to 90 days, and revoke it whenever you like.

Data beside the app

A PostgreSQL or MySQL database, object storage or a persistent disk on request, with the credentials in the app's environment, and nightly database backups.

Refresh on a schedule

Run a script on a cron schedule to pull fresh data, or a one-off command when you need it, in the app's own environment.

No code yet?

Start from a ready-made tool

Streamlit, Metabase, Grafana, Appsmith and n8n are one click each in the dashboard, behind the same sign-in as everything else.

Questions

Before you ask

Do I need to change my Streamlit app?

No. If its entry file is app.py, main.py or streamlit_app.py and it imports Streamlit, it is started for you on the right port. Anything else can name its own start command.

Can a client open it without an account?

Yes, with a guest link. It is labelled with who it is for, ends on a date you choose up to 90 days away, and can be revoked at any time.

What does it cost?

You pay for the CPU and memory the app reserves or uses, hour by hour, from credit you add. There is no charge per viewer. You can turn on sleep, so apps scale to zero while nobody in your organization is signed in; a visit does not wake an app, so leave it off for apps clients open on their own. See pricing.

How do we join?

deployshed is in invite-only beta. Request an invite with what you would deploy, and you will get an invite code that starts your organization with credit.
